Tools We Use
Our Manual JSD tools

Tool Number One: Pen and paper. Open the drawing of a project, open our copy manual JSD. Then calculate all the loads one by one.
This is the most basic form of calculation. Also most difficult way
Tool Number Two: ACCA forms. They are available on the ACCA website for free. Data from side can be inserted in the fields identified . And the Excel file will calculate and return a result.
You have to be extremely knowledgeable about your project and ACCA manuals to work on this error-free. Have to be cautious while inserting data as well . However, this is less time consuming than doing the calculation in paper.
Tool Number Three: Simulation software. This is the tool we normally use. We have Berkshire Hathaway owned and ACCA approved software. We model your house in this software with necessary data, and the software returns with your result of heat load calculation and suggestions about the equipment and maybe duct layout.
This is the most efficient way to do it. All part of this software is approved by ACCA, so the plan checker will approve the result without much scrutinization.
